Merchi Storefront Vercel Integration

Documentation for connecting Merchi Storefront to your Vercel team so previews and production deploys stay on your own infrastructure.

Overview

Merchi Storefront is Merchi’s agentic storefront builder for merchandise catalogs. When you use bring-your-own infrastructure, Merchi opens pull requests in your GitHub repository and deploys through your Vercel project.

This Vercel integration lets Merchi act on your behalf after you install it: list projects, create preview deployments for Storefront AI changes, promote approved work, and manage domains or environment variables required by the storefront.

What the integration does

After you connect Vercel from Merchi Store setup, Merchi can:

  • Read and update storefront projects on the Vercel team you authorize
  • Create preview deployments for Storefront AI pull requests
  • Promote approved changes to production
  • Manage project domains and environment variables used by Merchi storefronts

What Merchi does not do

  • Merchi does not bill Vercel usage to Merchi’s account when you use bring-your-own mode
  • Unlinking Merchi does not delete your Vercel project or GitHub repository
  • Merchi only accesses teams and projects you authorize during install

How to connect from Merchi

1. Sign in to Merchi and open your domain.

2. Go to Store setup and choose Connect existing repository.

3. Connect GitHub (Merchi GitHub App or personal access token).

4. Click Connect Vercel and approve the Merchi Storefront integration for your team.

5. Select the Vercel project (and team, if needed), then Connect repository.

Permissions

The integration requests API access needed to operate a storefront project on your behalf, including project, deployment, domain, team, user, and environment-variable scopes.

You can revoke access at any time from your Vercel team’s Integrations settings. After revoke, Merchi can no longer deploy or update that project until you reconnect.

Security & data

OAuth tokens are stored encrypted by Merchi and used only to perform storefront provisioning and deploy operations you initiate in the dashboard.

Merchi does not use your Vercel connection to access unrelated projects outside the authorized installation scope.
